FEATURING A ‘MIX & MATCH’ TOURNAMENT + FREE PLAY DAY FOR MARVEL RIVALS

What happens during Game Night?

Free to enter the venue, free to play Marvel Rivals on designated PCs
- Tournament players and hourly paying guests will have priority on PCs. “Open” PCs will be available for free play.
Mix & Match Tournament w/ a prize pool based on the number of entries
- See below for ‘Mix & Match’ format
Players are welcome to begin playing games immediately after being assigned a PC
Tournament organizers will instruct tournament players when the tournament is about to begin

Game Night Ends (approx.): 10:00pm

**All games are played on PC. Players must own their own NetEase account linked to a Steam account.

*Before the tournament begins, Duos & Solos will be paired together to create Trios. All Trios, whether pre-registered or newly created, will stay together through the duration of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The tournament will be played in two (2) stages:
- Stage 1 | Mix & Match Group Stage
- Stage 2 | Top Trios Playoffs
Before the tournament begins, Trios will be evenly divided into 2 groups:
- Group A (Pre-Registered Trios)
- Group B (Newly Formed Trios)
STAGE 1 | MIX & MATCH
- Stage One will take place over up to 5 rounds depending on the final number of registered players
- Before each round of the Group Stage, a Trio from Group A will be randomly paired with a Trio from Group B to form a “Squad”
- During each round of the Group Stage, Squads will be matched against another Squad and play one (1) map
- After all rounds of the Group Stage are completed, Trios will be ranked based on their Win-Loss record
- The Top ~50% of teams from each Group will advance to Stage Two (unless we reach registration cap, which then all teams play in Stage Two).
STAGE 2 | PLAYOFFS
- Before the Playoffs begins, new Squads will be formed based on the rankings of the Trios from each group. Once these Squads are formed, they will play together as that Squad throughout the duration of the Playoffs.
- Squads will be placed in a Single Elimination Bracket and compete against their opponent in a Best-of-3 series of maps.
Additional Information
- All games will be played on “Competitive” maps (swap sides enabled on applicable maps)
- Hero Protect/Ban will not be enabled until Stage 2
- Maps will be predetermined for all Stages
Format Adjustments
- The tournament will run only if there are 4 or more Trios
- The tournament format may be adjusted based on the final number of Trios (pre-registered + newly formed):
  - Group Stage Rounds
    - 4 Trios: No Group Stage
    - 5-8 Trios: 3 Rounds of Group Stage
    - 9-12 Trios: 4 Rounds of Group Stage
    - 13-16 Trios: 5 Rounds of Group Stage
  - Progression
    - 16 Trios: All advance to Playoffs
    - 12-15 Trios: Top 6 from each Group advance
    - 8-11 Trios: Top 4 from each Group advance
    - 5-7 Trios: Top 2 from each Group advance
    - 4 Trios: 3v3 Playoff Bracket w/ all 4 Teams

Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ )

Are we allowed to bring our own keyboard, mouse, and headset?
- Yes you are allowed to bring your own peripherals. We do have our own equipment that we do sanitize after each use.
Can we leave our child by themselves during the tournament?
- If they are under the age of 13, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Is there public seating available?
- We have tables set up throughout the arena as well as bar seating.
Are we able to register in person?
- You can register in person on the day of, just note, we do have a 20% venue fee when registering in person.
How can we spectate the event?
- If you are in the arena, the event is shown on the big screen or you can watch it on twitch.tv/alliedesports.
What can we do if I’m unable to make it to the event?
