Fortnite Is About to Change Forever: Here’s Everything Coming Soon
From the permanent return of OG Fortnite to an epic Juice WRLD concert, Fortnite is gearing up for some of its most exciting updates yet! Here’s everything we know so far about what’s in store for the game over the next month.
Juice WRLD’s Remix the Finale Concert Event
Get ready for Fortnite’s biggest live event of the year! Remix the Finale will bring Juice WRLD and other featured rappers together for a unique concert experience. A leaked clip even confirmed that Snoop Dogg will make an appearance, following in the footsteps of previous live performances by Travis Scott, Eminem, and Ariana Grande.
But it’s not just the music that’s drawing attention. Players who attend the event will receive a free Juice WRLD cell-shaded skin, and a special Juice WRLD point of interest (POI) will take over part of the map. Expect an exclusive chug cannon and other rewards throughout the final week of the Remix event.
Ice Spice Joins the Fortnite Lineup
Ice Spice will enter the game with her own POI at The Shark. She’ll also get two unique Mythic items: a grappler with an icy twist and a “Spice” Scar that grants a speed boost.
Fortnite OG Mode: A Nostalgic Comeback
Fortnite fans have been buzzing with nostalgia, and Epic Games is answering the call by bringing back an OG mode. Players will get to experience Chapter 1 in its entirety, including fan-favorite seasons like the pirate-themed and futuristic Neo Tilted. This mode will rotate through each Chapter 1 season every month, complete with OG loot and zero-build support.
Pixar’s Lightning McQueen and Mater Join the Fun
Lightning McQueen and Mater from Pixar’s Cars are headed to Fortnite as animated vehicles. These cars are expected to have custom animations, making them feel like authentic additions to the Fortnite universe.
A Mini-Battle Royale and Upcoming Metaverse Games
Fortnite is planning to expand its gameplay with smaller Battle Royale modes. One of these new modes will support 50 players and initially launch as a solo and duo experience. Epic is also working on several new modes, including:
- Light Bunny and Figment: Featuring the return of the OG map.
- Feral: A 5v5 ranked Team Deathmatch.
- Sprout: A Lego-themed mode centered around various jobs.
- Imperial: A mode that highlights vehicle combat, NPCs, and more.
- Arnold: A large open-world mode expected to debut in Chapter 6.
Chapter 6 Open World and Japanese-Inspired Map
Chapter 6 is scheduled to drop on December 1, with an all-new map and a traditional Japanese theme, codenamed “AES.” Expect Samurai-inspired POIs, weapons, and mythology-based elements. Leaks have also hinted at a mysterious new mechanic called “the Void” that might let players travel to alternate dimensions or summon unique items.
Eminem Week and Rap God Minigun
Eminem is taking over the Fortnite island for a week in Remix, including his own POI modeled after his restaurant, “Mom’s Spaghetti.” He’ll also bring back the minigun, upgraded with a “Rap God” bullet effect, adding some serious firepower for players who visit his location.
Monsters Inc. and More Collaborations
Leaked sources hint that Monsters Inc. characters like Mike Wazowski and Sulley will eventually arrive in Fortnite. This collab, first seen in Fall Guys, is part of Epic’s larger trend of crossovers between its games.
In addition, Fortnite will welcome NASCAR cars, Fast & Furious vehicles like the Dodge Charger Hellcat, and potentially Transformers with car skins, making this a big year for vehicle-based updates.
Download Options and Space-Saving Changes
Starting in the next six months, Epic will allow players to select which Fortnite content to download, letting players save storage space by removing modes or collabs they don’t use.
Reality Augments, Quad Launcher, and More in Chapter 6
Reality Augments are making a comeback, allowing players to customize their playstyles with perks. The quad launcher will also be reintroduced with updated visuals for a more immersive experience.
The Future of Creative Mode and Custom Items
Epic is working on custom items for Creative Mode, allowing players to create unique weapons with personalized stats. However, these items will initially be experimental, meaning players won’t be able to publish islands featuring them until a later date.
Whether you’re here for the music, the nostalgia, or the gameplay updates, Fortnite’s next month promises something for everyone! Don’t forget to use code T5G in the item shop to support creators.
