Mario Kart 8 Deluxe already comes with every character unlocked — except one.

Gold Mario

To unlock Gold Mario, you need to win all 12 Grand Prix cups on 200cc difficulty.

• Place 1st in each cup
• This unlocks Gold Standard Mario, who replaces Metal Mario
• Gold Mario does not have different stats but looks amazing and shows off your skill
